[...]
I just read something that listed dental distress as a w/d symptom. I have aching in my teeth (or above them) that my dentist said had to do with sinus problems, but it has gone on for months. What kind of dental distress have people had related to withdrawal? Could an already existing problem get exacerbated by w/d?
[su...]
Hello Luci, I saw your question and put together some information that may be helpful. I am the type of person who seeks to know what is happening and why, it brings comfort to me. I hope it does the same for you. “The Accidental Addict” by Di Russell & Di Porritt, 2006 Teeth and Gums A number of people experience sore teeth, more like neuralgia than toothache. Their teeth feel loose and their sockets and very sensitive to hot and cold. Sore, bleeding gums are common. “Benzo-Wise, A Recovery Companion” by Bliss Johns, 2010 Symptoms from A to Z Tooth/Gum/Mouth pain: nerves in teeth hurt, gum hurts, all teeth in mouth hurt. Bruxism/Teeth grinding: occurs during sleep (often associated with tolerance or as a side effect while still on drug) Dry Mouth: mouth dry and feeling as if no saliva I hope this is helpful, Summer

[Fl...]
All of that including sinuses can be affected by wd. Where does one stop and the other begin? Who knows. But I had all of that during wd. Not feeling it much the past week or so but I went through several weeks of pronounced sinus issues along with jaw pain and I'm almost 15 months off. [Mi...]
My teeth became sensitive to hot and cold and I would get these shooting electric shock type pains. It was the first sign that I was having tolerance withdrawal. Now that I am 7 weeks off andhealing, I don't have the teeth symptoms anymore.
