[Sc...]
Brain Fog or "Cog Fog" is very normal and I think many of us have or do experience it. I have found that my "cog fog" has waxed and waned but is improving immensely the longer I am off of Benzos. I think much more clearly nowadays, but every now and then have a difficult day or two with this specific s/x. I'd say that after a couple of months I began to see more improvement with it. It WILL go, but like any other s/x can take some time to pass. My brain doesn't so much hurt as I get a heavy pressure-like feeling in my skull. I hope this begins to pass for you soon - but just know it will. All my best, Schatje
[Kl...]
Hi harlotte999, I relate to the brain fog. It can be very frustrating if I try to overthink it. I look at myself as having intermittent and very temporary "brain mechanical injury". I try to treat myself with as much compassion and kindness as I would if I were caring for a close friend or relative who was recovering from some strange malady. [ha...]
Yes exactly, like a pressure in my skull.....
[Be...]
I often have this; however, I sometimes cannot distinguish it from allergies and sinus pressure. Whatever the case, it does seem to be one of the more annoying conditions for me. I have trouble maitaining concentration and, yes, head pressure like I've got a skull cap on that is tightening around my head. It even makes me dizzy now and then. MRI and MRA reveals no abnormalities, so I'm confident it is nothing serious. However, it can sure make every day activities difficult.
