[...] Posted March 19, 2012 Share Posted March 19, 2012 It makes me think when I know I'm freaking out that could cause the anxiety burning, but does it just happen regardless in withdrawal. My mind will totally not even think about withdrawal for a second and not worrying, but that burning pain won't go away. I'm afraid something else could be wrong. [Sc...] Posted March 19, 2012 Share Posted March 19, 2012 Hi Coop, I had the burning in my legs VERY badly during my taper (not the entire time...it waxed and waned), and I can tell you now that the feeling is 100% gone. And it was gone not long after my taper ended. I still get a "shingle-like" feeling on my back and arms once in awhile, but it's not nearly as severe as the burning pain I had during my taper. It WILL pass over time. Keep hanging in there...I know it's been very difficult. I had a very hard taper, and I have now been seeing huge improvement since month 6.
