How's Everyone at 5.5 to 7 Months Feeling These Days?

[Ho...]

I've been having some windows lately although not without symptoms. I still have pins and needles in hands legs and feet and also some tinnitus mostly in my right ear. The problem is that I'm getting hit with really vicious waves in the days between. I've had six windows in the last 14 days which I'm hoping is a sign of things to come.

Would just like to hear from those that have been benzo free for this long and see what is happening with you.

While you're waiting, you can do a forum search. I know I've seen at least two of these threads so far, so you're bound to find a little information

Ray- LOL. That just had me in stitches. I hear you. But it just made me laugh so hard!!!  xoxo

Hockey -to be having that many windows out of 14 days is awesome.

How am I?  My entire baseline has really improved a ton. I still have mild d/r or brain fog. And mornings are really hard for me. But overall it's all better than the pot of fire that opened up at 3 months. I never hope to see anyting like 3 months again ever in my life. So I'm counting my blessings in a way.

Like crap--- haha--- still has me laughing, Ray. Thanks for the smile.

Gardenia...Sorry to hear that things haven't improved for you yet. It could be just around the corner

Parker...Glad to hear that things are improving. The windows I mentioned just happened in the last couple of weeks but I'm back in a wave now. I was just curious to know if this was some sort of corner that I was turning and that it might be somewhat common to people this far out.

Hi -

I have to say that at around 6 months, I started to get ALOT better.

I still had some symptoms, mild ones, here and there ... insomnia is

hanging on at times. But at a little over 7 months now, man, I feel like

my old self again. I feel like I am a human being again, I can think straight,

much less anxiety, depression and "cog fog". I am a critical care RN, and

I noticed about a month ago that while I was hanging in there at work and

doing OK, I was all of a sudden thinking much clearer and with less effort.

My emotions are now less volatile, I can handle stress much better....I didn't

realize how much I was sweating the small stuff....it was wearing me out.

I now realize how dark and upsetting my thoughts were during the

taper and in early w/d. They talk about "obsessive" thoughts, boy did

I have those. Now that I am not catastrophizing about events, it is so

much less stressful to "be with myself".

I know we are all different, but for me it sure helped to hear from

others who were doing decently after coming off this damn stuff. I hope

you start feeling improvement soon.
