Yes Bando,  the DP, DR and cog fog will go away.  They were my worst symptoms for a very long time and it was really scary while going thru it.  I sometimes thought it might be my new reality but deep down I knew it was a anxiety state due to withdrawl.  Mine just slowly faded away and is totally gone now.  I have moved on from zombie land and you will too.                Ginia

At 9 months out, cog fog is my most annoying symptom still (physically OK overall) and I am yet to see an improvement. A bit of DP also there. It is very tough to perform any mental work. Feeling like a complete retard.

For me it also feels like it is going to last forever BUT I had some windows when everything including brain function was much much better (not 100% though) and I know that my brain and my intellect are still there deep inside, and I will have them back once I am healed.

3 1/2 months into withdrawal is still early time, so hang on. For me it got a bit better after the 6th month mark.

Hi Ginia, I hope your doing well, ya I am approaching 17 month off, just want to ask about the veil and the dp, did it gradually faded with time or getting better and pops up again, and the duration start to wide in up for it, cause It was good for me for the past 7 days and then I probably ate something bad "Beans", and then got into it again :) everytime I think I am done with WD, I get hit back again, probably when you start to get better you push on too hard then you get slammed, my stomach is really still spasmic after all these months is it normal :) wow

Hi Tommy,

My DP and DR lasted a long time much like yours has.  It just gradually faded away and I learned to live with it as many times it was not too intense.  After a while you just get used to your symptoms. lol

There were times that it completely went away and then there were times that it would flare up along with other symptoms in waves.  I guess that is just the nature of the game, but over time even when it did flare up it was no way near the high intensity that it was in the beginning of withdrawl.  It's mostly gone now but sometimes still rears it's ugly head.  From what I have heard this is pretty typical for withdrawl.  Also, it's normal for the anxiety associated with withdrawl to affect our stomachs.  Mine occasionally still goes spastic too.

Hope you feel better soon.            Ginia

bando,

I have the d/r and d/p pretty bad right now at times along with stomach problems. It does go away, eventually because mine has lifted a few times. How long you been off?

Billy.

4 years, bando

I see.

I know the d/r and d/p can be an ugly place to live along with the cog-fog, just keep hanging on, and while I know it is hard, but you will get through this.

The d/r may become more pronounced at times, but it's just that and only that.

I'm desperate for brain fog and dr/dp to go away. It's my most obvious sx right  now, and I'm approaching 10 months off. I've been suffering from this for far too long and it needs to go.
