I lost everything boyfriend, friends, home, car, career, ect. I live at home without a phone, car, or bank accout BUT I gained my life back (Ativan was killing me I had been hospitilized in intensive care twice and the doctors did not know what was wrong-I quit Ativan-benzo and my health increased overnight even during withdrawal i was the healthiest i  had ever been in 6 years :smitten:) .  I am alive and I reached my goal. One day a window opened up and never closed. I guess now there really isn't anything to be afraid of...It's over. It's over!  :yippee:

Congratulations!  I'm sorry you lost so much during the w/d process; however, it seems that you know how much you've actually gained now that life is fresh and new!  Best wishes for continued health and happiness.  Sophia

Hi Leigh...Congrats on getting healed. Can you tell me how far out you were when that window opened?

Hi  :)

You found yourself, that's more important than anything you've lost.  What has been lost, can be replaced, but not you.  Congratulations!  You gave a lot of people hope, and a reason to keep on fighting.  Yes, it's over...your new life is just beginning...cherish it, and live it to the fullest.

I realize that this was written six months ago.  I hope all is still going well for you.

I love your success story Leigh!  CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I'm so happy for you that you're getting your life back.  I too have been able to reclaim my life after losing everything as well.  One step at a time.

Hugs,

Cedar
