Has anyone benefited from starting an antidepressant during Valium taper?

I'm doing a Klonopin taper and I absolutely had to go back on an AD (Paxil) because of all the horrible things Klonopin was doing to me.  For me, Paxil has really helped.  It has improved my appetite and sleep during the K taper and I am in a better mood and have more energy.

 

At any rate, that's my experience.  Perhaps some other buddies can chime in here and offer their advice as well.

Yeah, it usually takes 4 to 6 weeks for an SSRI AD to fully take effect.  Hope things work out well for you.
