[ja...]
Sorry Raypatch... This is so hard .It hurts. But if you take any amount of K it confuses a already confused Brain..Thats when this W/D can go from Horrific to In Human.. I know I did it. It shocked my brain 10 fold. Theres no relief in that. Sure maybe for like 2 hours but then It ON.. Hang in there I wish there was a Relief Pill..Im so sorry theres not. But this w/d will resolve its self.. ~Jenny

[Ti...]
I've updosed several times and regretted it every time. It gave me some relief at first but then when I tried to go down again, my symptoms were worse every time. I am very, very sick Ray. I have many sx. I have to tell you that I am actually envious of you that you are OFF the pills. I know that sounds crazy. But the grass is always greener. I just wanted relief so bad and the doctors told me to increase my dose, add valium, etc. and I've just gotten sicker. As tempting as it is, don't do it. That's my opinion at least. What about the Propanolol? Visteral? I feel so bad for you. 15 hours of shaking is very inhumane. If you go the hospital maybe they can give you a low dose anti-seizure med to stop the shaking? Just tell them you do NOT want a benzo. I am not a doctor, so have no clue but know you need some relief. Also, is it the akathesia or shaking? Have your symptoms been changing? I know you had the akathesia before...
[pa...]
Ray - do not do this. I know you are suffering and your mind is clinging to anything, but this is not what you want. I take a VERY small dose of Remeron and it compltely takes the edge off while I"m healing. I used to take the small pill (15g) which will make even a horse sleep - and that is the SMALL dose - often prescribed for insomnia. But now, at 6 months off almost, I only need 3mg. It completely improves depression and anxiety and allows me to rest. It does NOT interfere with GABA healing. It may be somethign you can ask your doctor about if you feel desparate to survive with something in the meantime. Remeron is the reason I have made it through. You can also talk to WWWI, Cnotr, and others on here if you are curious about it. Not promoting it, but when buddies are looking for something that might help and are talking about going on benzos or drinking, I always bring up the Remeron as a possible alternative. xoxo, Parker
[rs...]
raypack, i don't know how long you have been off the k, but if you want to really get better i would not take anything. it may not give you the relief you want. I tried to reinstate after i jumped off valium for a month and it didn't work. it has to build up in the system. it will also just whack out your cns even more because it takes it up and down. I know how hard this is but if you can hang on this wave may subside. i would rather be beat with a wet rope than take another benzo. just my opinion, rstud
[pi...]
I think it has been documented over and over by other members that rescue doses really don't work. Jenny is right, you are adding more confusion to an already confused cns. There is no magic bullet and as hard and awful as these symptoms are, they will go away. We have all been through these horrible times and cried out for help. Cry, rant, scream and find anything to distract yourself rather than taking a benzo. I can't speak about other medications, I don't feel qualified, but I believe anything is better than a benzo. pianogirl
[ra...]
Thanks for the advise the pill is cut its sitting on the table mocking me trust me i don't want to take it I'm going to try and do something to distract me what about an ambien at night would that be bad Just wondering
[pi...]
Try putting the pill away, out of site is out of mind. Also Ambien is not a good idea as it targets the same receptors as a benzo. Try melatonin, camomile tea, deep breathing exercises, even benadryl can work. Put on movies and just let them run, let the symptoms come and tell them you are not afraid of them. I told mine to give it their best shot because I could handle it. pianogirl
