[pa...]
Glosarti - You are not alone. Many people feel like you do, even in the U.S. and in other countries. Our doctors here don't know about benzo withdrawal either and many of them also look at us with "different eyes" too, like you said. You are NOT alone. We are all here to support each other. Are you tapering now? Are you trying to get off benzos? Please let us all know how we can help. :)Parker
[Fl...]
Hello Glosarti, Welcome! Which benzo are you taking? How much? For example, diazepam 5 mg twice a day. Is it prescribed by a doctor? We can help you taper at a reasonable rate and it won't be that bad. If you can get your doctor to continue subscribing it won't be a problem. Your life is not ruined!! . At 29, you have many, many happy, drug free years ahead of you!! I'm glad you found us, Flip

[Ch...]
Hi Glosarti, Glad you found this site. There are lots of people here who understand what you're going through. It's typical for families not to understand and doctors as well. Keep posting. The more often you write here, the more people will see your posts and respond with help and encouragement. [Mi...]
Hi Glosarti, The key to tapering is going very slowly, especially since you have taken them for 3 years. Have patience and don't try to rush yourself off. Consistent cuts in your daily dose of 5-10% every 2 weeks is usually slow enough. The closer you get to jumping off completely, the slower you should taper. You can do this! We will be here to cheer you on. MiniMinnie
