Needing advice

:'(It is days like today that I feel permanently damaged.  I am missing the simple things, like my memory, my ability to focus, clarity of thought, calmness, connecting to people and emotions and memories.  It is times like this that I wonder how you ever come out of something like this, how is it even possible to go from this, back to normal?? I guess I need to hear that you do come out of this, and you will be back to normal, because for some reason right now I don't believe it.

I hardly think that going back to "normal" after this experience is possible.  You discover many things about yourself you did not know, like how very strong you are for instance.  The only choice is to keep going and enduring the symptoms that come at you each day.  I do understand that it feels permanent ... this is a growing experience (ya, I know, one we would rather do without).  For some reason this is our lot.  Keep the faith Smuel and just do this for today only okay?

 

I can tell you that I am a long way recovered so I know that healing from this is real but I sure am not the same person going into this as coming out.  Actually that is a very good thing.

Healing does happen guarantee just take it 1day at a time,be kind to yourself, you are a good person bando

Low dose for short period...i say you will be perfect by the end od the year...just ride it out and stay away from the garbage.....day at a time....no more pills...

You was on a low dose for a short period. I think you will get there pretty quick.

It is hard to say, and no one can really give a timeline because we all differ.

Hi Smuel.  Whoopsie is 100% right!  I healed from valium, you will heal from this.  You become a better you afterwords, why, just like Whoopsie stated, you then know your internal strength, it's powerful.  I read your other post, I am so sorry you have gone through so much.  Stay close to your brother, the one who is your support person.  Try to get him to come onto this site, so he gets the full understanding.  You will heal and will have a new beautiful life back.  Know you have found the most loving, supportive group of people on this site.  Prayers and hugs to you, Pattylu

hi smuel i was in a 27 day window!!!! then went in to a wave that last 2 days now back in a window for another 27 days thats were im at, so healing dose happen one day my windows will change in to a door an ill be heal for ever!!!! love in JESUS...kate7
