[Be...]
Hi there Atx21l. I'm sorry that you are having a rough time. If you are having some tough symptoms it is possible that you might have been cutting your dose too quickly, or making cuts that are a little big. It is usual to make cuts of somewhere between 5%-10% every 10/12 days. Any larger may leave you with extremely harsh symptoms.. In Professor Ashton's Manual it explains reasons for cutting in a slow manner. Here is a link to it: http://www.benzo.org.uk/manual/ Have a read. It is a good resource for understanding benzos and withdrawing from them. Things will get better. It can take time, but slow tapering can make things more tolerable. I hope that you find the support you need here. People are very nice and kind and open. Hugs, Betsy xxxx
[Ch...]
Welcome Atx, Glad you found this site~ you'll be glad, too! Lots of great people and support, and a very active site. You are where I am in my taper, though I came from a higher dose. How long did you take to get from .5/1mg to .25? Going too fast brings on the bad side effects. You might want to consider water titration to cut your dosage now...can give you some info on that if you're interested. Challis
