Havin a bad wave and need a distraction!!!

So, to help this process along, I take a really strong vitamin, I also take this green mix which is like all of your fruits and veggies for the day.  Both make me feel like crap because my system is so sensitive.  So I can't think straight right now and need some helpful tips!!!!For someone who was on clonazepam for two and half months or something like that, how long is the recovery process usually??

Many people find that they have problems tolerating vitamins and supplements during withdrawal.

 

Generally, having only been on benzos for a short period of time could possibly contribute to a quick recovery.  However, it is not a guarantee that healing will be quicker than it would be after long-term use.

The severity and length of the withdrawal syndrome is likely determined by various factors including rate of tapering, length of use of benzodiazepines and dosage size and possibly genetic factors.

 

I think lifestyle, diet, stress and many other factors may also contribute.

Which vitamin are you taking? B vitamins have been known to ramp up symptoms.

 

I can't tolerate anything with Vitamin C in it, for some reason. Sucks cause I miss drinking juice  :(

Its a strong multi vitamin, there is a lot of stuff in it, so its good for you but makes me feel bad!

 

It sounds like there's something in there that isn't agreeing with you. Did a doctor prescribe you the multivitamin? Have you talked to your doctor about how you feel after you take it? I really don't have much experience with vitamins but, I read that some members just don't do well with them.

I'll try to distract you a bit...Do you think we will REALLY get any rain on Sunday?  It's 84 degrees right now!  Looks like we're in for a long summer!  ;D

Hi smuel,

 

I haven't been able to take many supplements during this withdrawal and recovery process.  I have found I am able to get my nutrients through food sources instead. You are so right about our systems being so sensitive right now.  If you weren't told to take the vitamins by your doctor for a medical reason, you might try to go without and see how you feel. B vitamins seem to bother a lot of people in terms of revving up of symptoms. The only supplement I have been able to tolerate is magnesium glycinate and I don't take it every day.
