[so...]
Had a real good window on Monday that lasted all day..woke up Tuesday morning and felt like 10 mikes of bad road. All symps seemed as they were worse than ever and even had a few new ones pop up. So, like most of you, Ive been in the 7th circle of hell since Tuesday and nothing I do helps relieve the suffering. Last week I purchased a suppliment called Relora and much to my surprise it actually worked for a few days. That too is no longer effective. Anyway... Just now...out of the blue the symptoms lifted. No anxiety, no fearful thoughts and the aches and pains are bearable. I know this is a window but at times think this is the most cruel aspect of the healing process. Sometimes the window lasts a few hours sometimes a few minutes sometimes a day and each time the window closes I think there is something else wrong with me. [sh...]
I've experienced exactly what you described. You feel completely out of the loop and then one minute, poof, you're fine. You might be fine for hours or days but, you feel like you've never been through anything, like this window will be the window that stays open forever. So, when it's gone, you freak. You think, "This must be the way that I am or I wouldn't feel it all the time". I think we let our minds get the best of us, sometimes. We want to be believe we'll get better. There's no other option, right? Maybe, if we spun that and told ourselves that, right now, we have to go through this pain to get to good and, sadly, there is no other option. Everyone isn't like this though; they can go through withdrawal without being slammed and wake up one day, never feeling withdrawal again. They're fortunate and I envy them but, for some like us, we just have to ride the wave until we're through the process. I hope you feel better
[WT...]
The fact that our brains can function normally for any amount of time shows me that one day, we'll be just fine.
[pa...]
Sooner !!!! Hang in there! I'm JUST like you. I feel CRAZY. At one point, earlier in withdrawal, it was just BAD ALL THE TIME. Now, it's bad - but GOOD in SOME PLACES! And in a way, we're like horses that can see the barn. NOW we want to RUN HOME!!! I agree with WT - just the fact that you've had ONE good day shows your brain knows how. I had ONE good day 2 weeks ago where I woke up NOT in the fog. NOT AT ALL. It was amazing. We are both about close to 6 months off. Hang in there! We may hit a real turning point here soon... many do! And if nothing else, maybe the windows will keep coming. I hope I'm reading a window story from you soon! I bet I do! :)Parker
