[Bo...]
I had Inattentive ADD before benzo use and withdrawal makes it worse. I can't focus very well at all. Foggy mind before benzo and withdrawal adds to the brain fog even more. Anyone else have inattentive ADD or ADHD? How do you cope?
[Th...]
hey booboo, I have/had ADD before beginning my withdrawal from Klonopin, in fact, I stopped taking Adderal on the same day that I started my taper. Before tapering my ADD was manageable even without the adderal, but since tapering things have become much, much harder. I have found that on days I go and do any sort of prolonged physical activity I seem to be able to concentrate better. Meditation also helps both to train me to focus and to calm myself down when I get frustrated because I can't focus. It's very frustrating at times, especially when all I can focus on are negative things, but I try to keep my eyes on the prize. In a short time this will all lift and this whole withdrawal thing will just be a bad dream.
[Bo...]
Hey TheSend9b, I can relate to you. Tapering has made me have brain fog like bad. Who would have known that benzos cause worse problems than before starting it. My head feels like its in the clouds most of the day and my motivation is low and negativity high. My brain feels like a switch has been turned off. I agree that physical activity helps with concentration. I walk my dog every morning and try to get some running in there to help with focus.
