[Pr...]
I LUV the results of this v. recent sleep study - basically they found that middle-aged & elderly women lived longer with lower sleep of between 5 - 6.5 hours per night - made me feel a LOT better & less "anxious" about my erratic sleep - which is ALWAYS a good thing (to feel less anxious about anything in this journey). http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/healthnews/8036861/Five-hours-sleep-is-enough-study-finds.html
[ma...]
Wow. That's the best news I've read in ages. It sure makes me feel a lot better about my minimal sleep. Everything you read today talks about how important sleep is and how we all need at least 7hrs. Lack of sleep causes reactions like you are drunk. I sure hope this study is correct, tho I'd sure love to get 7hrs sleep a nite. I really do feel better physically when I get 7hrs of sleep. Thanks so much for providing this link. Why does it say Sat. March 17th when its Friday?

Why does it say Sat. March 17th when its Friday? Yes I think you can be pretty confident with the results of this study MMom as it is mentioned that the researchers used actual physiological measurement rather than just "verbal" assessment of the participants. Quite often I feel "fine" after only 5 hours esp. since I have had to get "used" to it during withdrawal - only rarely does it feel "tough". And this study also helps me a lot in not worrying about it so much. Maybe it says "Saturday" 'cos I live in Australia???
