What should I feel like before I taper my Klonopin again?

From 1mg in the morning and 1mg at night....I cut .5 mg 3 days ago from the morning dose. Maybe too much?? Feel ok so far: but generally how should I feel before I make another cut? And, generally how long and how much should it be? I am new and you friends are way ahead of me in your knowledge of all this!! Thanks for your help.

.5 mg is a large cut.

 

The recommended rate of taper is 5% to 10% every 10 to 14 days.

 

Which benzo are you tapering? 

How long were you on this medication?

Do you have a doctor helping you with your taper?

 

It is recommended to hold each dose until you feel stable before making your next cut.  Stable does not necessarily mean symptom free but rather manageable.
