What is your tip with Muscle tension above left ear and above right temple

What is your tip in dealing with muscle tension above left ear in head and above right temple. i take 2 advil which can help at times, but what do you do? I am hoping this is a symptom that will subside over time.

Mine comes and goes Brooke.

 

Some people can take advil but I could not. It is a GABA antagonist and did rev up my symptoms. I can take tylenol although it is not as effective but does offer some relief.

My suggestion which helped me is to fill a hot water bottle and cover it with a thin towel, I would lay my head on it where the pain was and feel relief. Advil helped as well.
