[Ho...]
I was wondering today what it is about benzos and those darn gaba receptors that make it the worst drug in the world to withdraw from. It doens't make sense. I have seen lots of stories of people taking "street drugs" and you always hear about how "toxic" those drugs are, and how they destroy other parts of the body, and yet those people still just get through a few weeks of wd and then seem perfectly fine! The damage other drugs cause can be so obvious and outward and yet they still somehow recover so quickly (in comparison). I don't understand! [Be...]
I think it may be because they affect the entire central nervous system which connects to every part of the body.

[Ja...]
Yeah it's a backwards World where you have to watch out for the legal stuff...too bad no one told us this before taking the darn pills! Ed
[Ni...]
The only good thing about this is its an accidental addiction, we did not seek this hell and when its over we won't crave it again. Heroin addicts crack and any other drug addicts will always have that itch to go back and most relapse.
[li...]
They are not the worst drugs to withdraw from. Some people have problems with benzodiazepines, some with antidepressants, some with antipsychotics. Prescription drugs/´big pharma´ drugs are stronger and more ´addictive´ than street drugs. They are designed to be very potent. Also, drugs that ´cure´ vs. drugs that ´treat´ conditions. Prescription drugs when taken daily can cause powerful physiological adaptations. ´street drugs´ are usually taken infrequently, often in a binge with periods of abstinence thus allowing for recovery. And Klonopin is a very powerful and destructive benzodiazepine, its long half life will guarantee dependence.
[Bi...]
One medication that nearly killed me was Effexor, I slammed it down, and two days later it slammed me down into complete pieces. It was pretty potent stuff!
