Does Anyone Ever feel Like Your Eyeballs Are Cold?

I get this feeling every now and then, it's almost a cold numbing feeling that's cast across the outer layer of my eyeballs. It's especially noticeable if I squint really hard to the point of insulating my outer eyes by tightly closed eyelids and surrounding skin tissue. Of course when I'm really tired they can get red and bit warm or hot, but this cold eyeball thing feels weird to me. I don't remember having this in my pre-benzo days.  Does anyone else get the cold feeling? I don't know if they are actually colder or if they just seem like they are?
