Is extreme thirst and dry mouth a w/d symptom?

However, extreme thirst can also be a sign of something other than withdrawal such as diabetes.  You may wish to get checked out by your doctor.

There was a study done by 3 doctors in Japan and their research proved that benzo use can cause less saliva to be produced in the mouth.  This can lead to thirst as well as dental problems.

 

As mentioned earlier its best to get things checked out by a doc if you are worried.  Try to stay really well hydrated, water is the best for that.
