[Mi...]
Hi, I'm new & glad I found you all. I'm taking both Ambien & Lunesta for sleep each night. I've been on one or both about 4 years & now sleeping pretty well. My insomnia began in '92 due to PTSD. A recent sleeping med study reported in the BMJ Open & a lot of newspapers has me very concerned. The study found higher death & cancer rates in those who take benzo & z drugs. I want to get off my meds but know I'm dependent & that the rebound can be brutal. I also really like sleeping again. I'm currently looking for professional help with this. Suggestions? [St...]
Hi MikePTW, welcome to BenzoBuddies I'm not personally familiar with the Z drugs but there are members here that are, hopefully they will chime in. You might find some info if you use the forum search function and type in what drug you're looking for. Please make yourself at home, you'll find a lot of support here, I'm glad you found us. [Mi...]
Thanks Star. A network of knowledgeable folks is very powerful - but you know that. Are there specific places to go with admin questions or is the search function the only place? For instance, setting up a signature, adding an image, etc. MikePTW PS: Ooops - just found the profile page. I think that covers my questions. [St...]
I'm glad you're finding you way, I know this can be confusing. There's also a tech support board if you have tech questions like posting picutres etc. here - http://www.benzobuddies.org/forum/index.php?board=68.0 Feel free to roam around and ask questions if you need to.
