[Ra...]
Am I in the 3-4 month wave? I was doing so good, now slammed. Feel terrible. Any advice?
[Ga...]
I am sorry to hear that RadRoy. I am in a wave that started at 3 months. Been about 10 days or so now. It varies in intensity at different points of the day. It seems that many are hit at the 3 month mark but go on to feel better after. I have read lots of people saying that they turned a corner at 4/5 months. It sucks, but it's just a case of holding on, accepting that it is temporary and will get better. Go easy on yourself as much as you can.
[Ra...]
Yeah. I'm going easy on myself, its just others that aren't/can't. I'm like a 3rd child for my wife to care for and it's hard on the whole family. I'm just curious to hear from others that may have had a flare-up at 3-4 months. About 3 weeks ago, I thought i was cured.
[mo...]
I'm right there with you Radroy. I'm 10 weeks out and last week I could have sworn I was cured too. I have been fortunate that my waves have not lasted for days on end. It's usually one bad, the next okay. But last week I had a stretch of completely symptom free days. It was awesome! Now, I'm back to broken sleep patterns and that seems to be intensifying everything else. Low grade anxiety, d/r is worse, just feeling crappy and sorry for myself again. It is disappointing, for sure. And I understand what you are saying about the pressure you feel to get well. I feel like such a burden to everyone around me. I worry that they are all secretly thinking I just need to get over it already! Believe, no one wants that more than us who are suffering. I definitely feel better when I ease up on myself and try to stay upbeat and just accept things as they come. It's not my nature to take things as they come. I am a complete control freak. If there's one thing that w/d has taught me, is that I cannot control it. I HAVE TO learn how to go with the flow, or else it will drive me insane. I'm not saying it's easy. Some days it's darn near impossible. But I try to hold out hope for the next day to be better. And it will get better, Radroy. You have to believe that. For now, take comfort in all the helpful souls on this form.
