[Mi...]
Hi all, I am 12wks. almost 3mo. into taper at about half of the dose from start. (Lorazepam) for the last couple of weeks I have been having shooting knife like pain in various places on back and shoulders. Sometimes the spasms keep me down for a day or two, use wet heat and ice packs. This morning I started to get lesser shooting pains in my head, mostly in the front and right temple. I would appreciate any feed-back or suggestions. Mindy

[sw...]
I don't think that where you are in your taper really matters when describing symptoms as they all come and go at different times for everyone. When I had that symptom I was rx'ed a muscle relaxer that was very helpful. Best wishes.
[Bi...]
This sounds like spasms in a way. I have burning at the end of each one. If this is what you're describing? I have them in my back most of all. Billy.
[Au...]
I had shooting head pains, like being stabbed with a knife. They were very quick, but soooo painful, and very scary. I would get days where I had them 4-5 times during the day, and other days - none at all.
[Ro...]
OMG I have had this going on sporadically and I never ever heard anyone describe it exactly like I was feeling it. Sometimes that stabbing pain in my shoulder knocks the wind out of me...and when I get it in my head (usually front/top/right side) it scares the hell out of me!! I am so relieved to know I am not alone and it is definitely a symptom. It will go away...mine is so random now.
