Epsom Salts

It has been a while since I was here but now I am back because insomnia hs reared it's ugly head again.  I have been off since 2009 and also took Norfloxcin last year.  I tried epsom salts before and while they were good for sleep I think they cause me to have muscle twitches but I can't remember now.  It has been going on a yeaer since I tried them so I was thinking of trying them again.  Would anyone else?

They can help, but they can also cause electrolyte imbalance if you do too much or too often.  This is because they pull toxins from the body.  I was doing it every night and morning for about a week, and I ended up sick from it.  If I only do it occasionally, it works very well.

Detoxing while in withdrawal can be tricky, so this one has to be done carefully.

I found last night they really revved me up.  I also had a prescription for Norfloxin last summer and I am finding that since that a lot of my w/d symptoms are back.

sagemom did you drink the water beofre you got the epsom salt baths too?  You are supposed to drink a cup of water while you are in the bath and another one when you get out.  they really made a lot of my symptoms return--numbness being a big one.

Yeah, I always drink a lot of water before and after.  It doesn't always make me feel icky, only if I overdo it.

I am wondering if that's what happened to me--maybe not enough water.  I will try them again when I drink more water.
