[gy...]
Hello, I was wondering if someone could give me some input...... I am currently on 5 mgs per day, scheduled to cut in a few days to 4.5 (have been at 5 mgs for almost 3 weeks)...... I can't for the life of me remember if I took my nightime dose of 3 mgs last night. I take 2 mgs in the morning and 3 mgs at bedtime. I have tried every way to figure out what I did and nothing is coming up...... I have only done this once before but I think the dose I missed was more like 2 mgs. I am panicking a bit here, and not sure if I should go ahead and take last night's dose or not. This is driving me insane. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks so much, Holly
[bl...]
Well, I don't know what others will tell you, but I've forgotten very occasionally to take a pill over the last fifteen years of taking them. Sometimes due to sleep, sometimes sickness, sometimes travel, sometimes thrown a dose up for some food poisoning issue, sometimes drank too much and passed out, etc. I would take my next dose as planned and consider it a blessing, personally. [Be...]
I would let it go, gypc910. I one time miss - if you did miss it - of a long acting benzo like Valium shouldn't cause you any problem. Just get back on schedule tonight. I had to get some of those pill containers from the drug store and fill them for the week so I could look and see at a glance if I'd taken a particular dose. I liked not having to think about it so much.
[gy...]
Thank you both for your replies...... I was going to let it go, I waited several hours and started having some rough symptoms, my BP was up, intestinal issues and lots of Dp/Dr, so I decided to take the 3 mgs. My BP was down within an hour of taking it and is still down today. I have to assume this time I did miss the dose and I am hoping if I did double-up there will be no problems from that. Geeze, I feel like I am walking a tight rope here. Thank you for listening. Holly

[Bi...]
With the half - life of Valium, it doesn't matter if you forget a dose. I know I did. I let it go.
[GH...]
Holly, you have to see the humor here. If we do this real fast, maybe if i drive to your house real fast, I can get there in time to see if you took your dose. We can get Marty McFly to get the delorean and go back and see if you took it. Then we can speed ahead to see how you are doing with the taper. Maybe find the results of the election too. Holly, get a pill sorter. The kind that has every day marked. Then all you need to do, is know what day it is. We can help with that one. Benzo brain is a real pain. I hav etrouble rememberiung who I am sometimes. I hope you are not offended, just playing. If you cant laugh, why take benzos? good healing, fair winds
[ea...]
Actually a very good sign being able to forget a dose. Don't worry about it just take next scheduled dose.
[...]
Funny...this is one drug I never forget to take. Ha. I guess when you take it multiple times a day it's harder to keep track of.
