[bm...]
Hey guys, the fatigue is killing me. I go in and out of sleep every night and get probably 3-4 hours. I feel like a walking zombie! When does this end, does sleep ever return? Does the fatigue go away? I feel like I'm falling asleep while I'm walking.... My eyes are so heavy. I feel like this is never going to end or that this is how I really am and it's not Benzo w/d. How many of you guys didn't work where I am off? All I want to do is lay in bed. Talking to people is nearly impossible, I can't think straight and when I talk I'm falling asleep.

[ro...]
Hey Buddy, Sorry to hear things are sooo rough but I am 22 months out and feeling still quite lousy most days, but the 1st 1-7 months sleep was very difficult,7-18 months sleep improved but I had waves of days at a time of very poor sleep. Well 18-22 months I sleep most nights 8-9 hours with very little problems,I am still in this mess, still have many symptoms actually fatigue lately past 2 months has really been a problem some days. I currently am suffering from major flu symptoms,or maybe it's really a flu virus but had now for over a month,I have no idea often what is causing what. But your fatigue and lack of sleep pattern will switch,it just does, for me everything cycles somewhat, some symptoms fizzle away for good others come around for a encore performance of sorts. There is just no pattern to this illness,we all heal quite uniquely. Hang in there it will improve, remember we all WAX,WANE and MUTATE with regard to symptoms until recovery. [ma...]
Hi, This *will* pass. Please hang in there. Somebody here said they had luck with not fighting the insomnia and gently telling yourself that "You will relax and sleep. It is OK to totally chill out and sleep. The time will come..." or something like that. It made sense to me. I had a terrible night last night and feel like garbage today. I am very effing concerned about my sleep tonight but all I can do is persist as a human somehow. I will sleep eventually and my brain and body will make the best of what sleep I do get. This insomnia is part of the process, this is how it goes sometimes because I exposed my brain to benzos for a long time. I am not the first person to go through this and it will pass. Yes this will pass... Yes this is part of the journey... M
[Ti...]
I have the crushing fatigue too. Not sleeping well, but I wasn't sleeping at all a month ago and this is completely different. It is accompanied with all day long head pressure. My body feels 1000 pounds. It is tough to keep my head up and form coherent sentences. I feel completely impaired cognitively. My gait is slow too. This has not happened to me yet in the last 5 months and it is very, very disturbing. I have been reading where people have the crushing fatigue for over a year after stopping benzos. What is going on in my brain!??! I am also very amped at the same time so it is the worst feeling... Can anyone relate?
