Nausea starting at 9 months off??

[Ho...]

Recommended Posts

I've never had nausea in withdrawal before, except for maybe a hint of it here and there. But this past week I've been having it a lot, and for no real reason. Even on an empty stomach I will get it. This is very unusual for me. It kinda comes as a really quick wave, and then it passes. Then it comes again a few minutes later. Can't believe I have a new sx at 9 months!!!  :'(

But then again I shouldn't really be surprised - I'm still so symptomatic, and my daily waves come on like clockwork (at 4pm).

I didn't have any GI issues whatsoever until around that time. It has never been a major symptom for me aside from the few days where I was jolted awake and nearly vomited in bed. That was kind of scary but aside from that the only thing I have had is some weird floaty pains and pressure, some general nausea and most recently a sour stomach first thing in the morning.

I have been hit w/ nausea since my taper days, but it is becoming less and less.  I got hit hard again tonight and it is so draining.  The only thing that sometimes helps me is ginger tea.  Although nausea has hit me for months, I do find I'm getting the occasional "new" s/x I never had before, so I guess it's all part of the healing process.  I hope this passes soon for you, as I know how debilitating nausea can be.  Have your s/x always come at 4pm?  Or is that recent?  There is no rhyme or reason to mine...they just pop up out of nowhere.

All the best,

Schatje

Interesting. I am suddenly having very bad burning sharp tummy pains and can quickly feel pukish. Sigh. Just a big sigh.

This beast is relentless, but in the end I WIN!!

I have nausea too. It was much worse in the 4 - 12 month range, but still hits me every now and then at 22 months off.

Schatje, my sxs have always hit me extremely hard after 4 or 5 pm, pretty much every day (unless I'm in a very rare window). It's like clockwork. The most noticeable sxs that coincide with this time are the brain fog and jaw pain, and fatigue. I can literally feel the brain fog start to descend, well, just like a fog. It starts creeping in slowly and then by 4 or 5 I'm completely overtaken and can't even think or see straight. And my jaw is always aching so bad by this time. Then after about 10pm I start to feel better, get some energy and a little clarity, which isnt too good because then I have to try to force myself to fall asleep (still impossible without trazodone).

Of course, I still have plenty of sxs that don't follow this pattern and remain constant or come and go as they please, but it's this darn pattern with the brain fog, jaw pain, and fatigue that gets me every single day.  :pokey:

I hope this heals for you, I really do. At least it has started to improve!
