The hell of cold turkey withdrawal

Hey BBs,

I am new here so I will try and use this opportunity to tell you a little bit about my benzo journey. This week marks nine weeks free from Temazepams-60mg after using for seven years. Just to put it mildly this has been a journey through hell. The symptoms have been horrific, so horrific I had a nightmare last night and both of my ex-husbands were in it! OK you can laugh. But I haven't been my jolly self. Every day dealing with this withdrawal has been like being a contestant on the worst game show ever! But I am trying to laugh about the sad stuff like the constant diarrhea, the hallicinations, the inability to leave my house because I fear going wack-a-doo in the grocery store. So please let's laugh together because that is what is going to help us get through this.

Sounds like you have a great attitude.  Laughter is good medicine.
