I am subbing .125k for 2.5 v every 4 days. I am on day 3 of my 3rd substitution and I am starting to feel moderate w/d. Only slept 2 hours last night. Is this common? would anyone advise a slower crossover? Currently .375K, 7.5V.

Hi, deerslayer.

Before I can comment, I need to understand what you are doing.  You say you are substituting .125mg Klono for 2.5 Valium every 4 days but your topic asks about a Klono to Valium crossover.  The latter is more common and what I think you mean (that you are crossing from Klono to Valium) but don't want to assume anything so important.

I do think that which ever way you are going, 4 days between substitution is likely to result in more wd symptoms.  Are you doing the crossover fast because of a limited supply of Klono? I think waiting at least a week between substitutions would be better.

You have picked up my error. I am having trouble thinking today. I did mean subbing 2.5v for .125 K. Have been doing every 4 days. Your insight on this seeming quick is being validated by my symptoms.

I have been pushing it because of impatience. But I am starting to suffer. Do you have direct experience with this crossover. If so, how did it go for you?

Thanks

Sorry, no, I don't have any experience doing a substitution taper, deerslayer.  What I know I picked up by reading.  You might want to start a topic/thread on this board asking for feedback from those that are using that method or did in the past.

I'm having a lot of nausea with my Ativan to Valium crossover--I hope someone can shed some light on this.  I am experiencing a lot of nausea.  I stopped my crossover because I feel so nauseated and am wondering if I should just push ahead...

Jackie

Thats very nice of you to ask. I've had 2 consecutive days of 8+ hrs of sleep and no w/d. I will do my second to last sub on Wednesday PM.

Keep me in touch about your next sub. I am sure it will go great. The v causes a bit of drowsiness, but supposedly this goes away in a short while. Feeling drowsy is actually not such a bad symptom.
