Pain in ear!

I'm wondering if anybody else has anything like this? I get a pain in my left ear from time to time, it doesn't last long but it can be very annoying. My tinnitus is in my left ear also. I'm sure this has something to do with withdrawal!

Frannie, Well that's interesting that you have it in one side only. I experience certain syndromes on only one side. But I think it's safe to categorize it as w/d. Time will tell.

A lot of my sxs have been stronger on the left side. I have had ear stuff as well, spasms in the ear, clogging, clicking.  I did have an ear infection in January but these sxs are a lot different.  I would say they are probably due to withdrawal.  If it hurts when you tap on the outside though, you might get it checked out.

I've been experiencing pain and pressure in my ears as well as tinnitus.  Seems this is part of this journey.

 

Get checked out by your doctor if you think there might be something else wrong.

Yes!!

 

I had pain in my right ear for several months - it was on and off.  I believe I wrote a thread on it so it must be w/d.

 

It did pass though but it was very annoying.

I had occasional brief stabbing pains in my right ear.  Very unnerving because they were sharp, but thankfully of a short duration.  This is also the ear that still flutters internally.  The ear pain was one of first symptoms to go away.  I also had jaw pain on the right side that cleared up.

Thanks for posting folks, it helps to talk to others. Doc looked in my ears last night and nothing so it's WD and is gone at the moment but tinnitus is ringing for me.

I am exactly the same as you, my tinnitus is in my left ear and I also get earache in my left ear. My ear was one of the first things to come at me early in my taper and now I am over 6 weeks benzo free and I still have the tinnitus and occasional earache, I also get a weeping sensation in my ears, but it dont seem to weep anything just the feeling of it. Hope it clears up for you (and me too for that matter :-))

Fullness in both ears for awhile...annoying but tolerable.  Hope it doesn't accelerate into tinnitus.

I have ear pain in my left ear everyday. Whole left side of face neck and eye. I get tinnitus rarely now but it is also in my left ear.
