Guest [de...] Posted March 4, 2012 Share Posted March 4, 2012 There is a prescription med for it, but unfortunately the best med is Klonopin. I get RLS as a w/d symptom. Sometimes bad enough that it wakes me out od a deep sleep. I find using the leg curl at the gym to be very effective when it flares. The key thing is to work your hamstrings every few days so that they are always a little sore. At least for me, that totally eliminates the symptoms, which for some reason affect my right hamstring much worse than the left. I don't feel it in my calves.
