bloody nose

Recommended Posts

Antone get nose bleeds? I have had a lot the last few days and last night while sleeping I had one that soaked my pillow and would not stop for a long time and then a few during the day, I use a humidifier in the bedroom and wondered if this was part of the withdrawals? I also had this lightheaded spell t work last night that lasted about an hour and I could barely keep from passing out, very frightening! After I sat down and had my lunch it was somewhat better, but I do not think it is food related as I have a glucose tester and mine goes down to 70-75 sometimes and I do not pass out. As an athlete I wonder if these dizzy spells are part of the process or a glucose issue, it happens every day but at random times and the exercise which uesd to calm me seems to be sometimes making me lightheaded afterwards. That and the walking on a boat feeling are my biggest worries. Any input appreciated!

hi flea,

BB member, Scotth, posted the Australian publication, "Beyond Benzodiazepines" (2010 ed), which has a reference to "blood nose" (bloody nose) with respect to benzo w/d.  http://www.nevdgp.org.au/files/programsupport/mentalhealth/2010/Beyond_Benzo%20Manual%202010_Reconnexion.pdf

I hope that this problem has worked itself out, but if not, please see your doctor.  :) Many Hugs, KL

Mom would feed us gelatin when we had nose bleeds.

Knox is plain gelatin without all the artificial stuff and sweeteners. It's very easy to flavor up with your favorite juices or berries.

And,,,, it's good for you.
