Hi Helpme123,

Hang in there. The symptoms will go away with time. Sometimes months to even a year. It can be hard and make you feel hopeless but you will recover. I truly hope you feel better soon. Your nervous system is self healing and will heal.

I felt like that too but, I promise you, it does get better. All those things you're feeling will dissipate and, one day you might find yourself with none returning.

I'll leave you a link to the Success Stories board. I usually read those when I need some cheering up.

Hope you start feeling better  :)

It is crazy bizarre how some people get hit so hard with the nerve pain ... stinging ... that is part of what I went thru too Laura.  I don't know if it helps to hear that it has eased for me, quite a bit ... off and on ... at least I'm having some off times now.  Never did have the windows that you used to experience.  We really don't have any choice but to keep going.  I really have to not let my mind have a freak out and talk back to it with positive affirming statements like "I am healing.  I am safe."

You have already hung in for a very long time and I understand how somedays the hopelessness seems so real.  You have already proven that you have great strength to endure all that you have already.  Keep the faith.  We are all going to be okay and soon this will just be a memory.
