How does one know when they have stabilized after a cut?

I am doing the water titration.  I can tell when I need to hold or slow down the taper because I experience the withdrawal symptoms.  As long as I taper slowly, the symptoms are not bad.

Don't know if you completely stabilize in a taper. You just get where you can handle the WDs enough to make another cut. Just my opinion.

Hi Tonnii,

I agree with endeavour. I am tapering using the milk titration method, never felt "stable" just manageable so for myself I would say as long as the taper feels manageable then carry on. If I was experiencing severe withdrawal symtoms, I would then hold until the severe symptoms subsided.

Hope that helps

Debbie.

It's kinda like the eye of the storm passing over. Things start to settle down a little but, sometimes, not completely.

For me, I knew another cut was in order once my withdrawal symptoms subsided. I also waited the recommended 1-2 weeks in between cuts.

Is it when the withdrawal symptoms go away?

Pretty much, though, I would define it more as they become tolerable and/or minimal as I suspect you'd probably have to hang out at a specific dose for a number of months for everything to settle down 100%.  Most people stabilize in 10-21 days following a cut (though due to a number of circumstances, such as the size of the cut, it can take both more or less time than that).
