Now I am on Remeron. But have ton of w/d for insomnia - very much without the Remeron; I could not sleep at all. Not sure when it will come back. Believe that I could only sleep a few hours a day - 3 hours max. Amaze on how little sleep that I could survive without.

Hello... Im also on remeron. I have been on it for about a month. It has really helped me sleep. I think it has also helped with the w/d symptoms. I just dont want to be on it forever.

I've been taking Remeron since my c/t, 7.5 mg.  I am now weaning off of it with no problems and sleeping fine.

after my experience with ativan im just scared about having to get off another drug... i can honestly say that i think it does help and the sleep is good (CRAZY dreams though). I dont think it should be to hard to get off... at least i hope!!

does it make depression worse for anyone? i had samples of it and it sure knocked me out but then i was depressed afterward?  that was just from a tiny piece of one pill even

It does not help my sleep as much. It looks like nothing could help my sleep at all.

 

I used to sleep great without any drugs for 48 years. A good and enjoyable vacation changed everything believe it or not. Not sure why.

I have never struggled with depression in my life and i cant really tell if i am now... i do have some down days but I think its from the w/d's. I cant tolerate SSRI's and i have had little to know trouble with remeron. It does make you hungry and some grogginess the next day.

It actually help me for depression from the Benzo redraw.

I took Remeron for two months. Then I took it again for a few weeks then stopped. I don't believe there was much w/d. Maybe a night or 2 with less sleep. I did 15mg

I believe if I started with Remeron rather than Ativan, I likely have less problem or finished my problem by now.

 

It is part of the education problem with our doctor in Canada; so easy to hand out Benzo for quick fixes.
