Neurontin bloating

Hello everyone,

 

I am on a high dosage of Neurontin and it has been causing overeating and extreme bloating. I can barely breathe. What are some ways to get rid of this excess water?

When I was on 1800 mg of Neurontin I had extreme edema too.  I think it's a really common side effect of the drug.  It got better as I reduced my doses.  I don't really think there's any other way to get rid of it without taking more drugs.

 

If you do choose to reduce your dose, though, definitely TAPER.  I didn't and it was awful.  I had to reinstate and I'm almost done with my taper now (all the way off).
