When I experience a new withdrawal symptom I generally post here to find out if others have experienced the same or something similar.  I also research to find out if the symptom is likely withdrawal related rather than self-diagnosing whatever illness might mimic these symptoms.

I know all the different symptoms can be very scary at times but finding out whether or not they are withdrawal related can provide a bit of peace of mind.

Hang in there.  You're not alone.

Hi Chance,  I was thinking of you today.  It's quite normal what you did, though mmgc is right.  Stick with bbs site, as well as checking it out on this sites Search.  Were you able to access that website for the wds list I mentioned?  Take good care, Pattylu

Hey Chance you are not a doctor nor did you play one on TV BUT I'll bet all of us here know way more about benzo withdrawal than the real doctors do!  They are a clueless bunch, we at least know that we don't know.  Sad but true.

Google can be the devil. Lol. Especially through w/d. It will turn you into a hypochondriac. And a worrier. Lol. Take the advice from above.  Everytime you Google a symptom cancer comes up about 90%a of the time lol. Not good for us. :)

Hey chance,

Going through w/d can turn an ordinary person into a complete hypochondriac. I know because I was there. When this started I was looking up every symptom I had and doubted so much that I was in w/d. How could such a small pill and low dose make me feel this way? Well, once I stabilized I knew that everything I felt was indeed from tolerance to valium. The best thing to do is remember that all those things you feel are signs of healing going on. No matter how tough it can be, keep reminding yourself that and visualize the outcome of you having your freedom in the end. Even before the end! I am still tapering and I feel great!

But, if you find yourself googling symptoms. Here is a good link to use to ease your mind. This list was made by a forum in which I am from, but closed down, of the moderators who put together a list of most of symptoms they felt at some point during w/d. If I am hit with something that I do not recall feeling, I will go here and usually what I am feeling is on that big fun list. After that, I do not dwell on it, and it always passes. Good luck and hang in there. There is always light at the end of the tunnel when you persist.
