inter dose withdrawal....solution?

As you can see I am currently see. I am on a night time dose of 1.0 Xanax , every other night, As I was having some s/x during the 2nd day, I thought I would try taking .25 in the afternoon, and finishing the .75 at night. If this backfires, I will go back to the 1.0 at night. When I make my next cut (.125), I should take it from the bigger dose, correct? I will not be doing this until next week to give my body time to adjust.

To avoid interdose withdrawal usually I would recommend dosing at least 2 times per day.  Your case is a bit unusual as you dose every other day.

 

You may wish to make smaller cuts once you stabilize and possibly hold longer between cuts.

 

It's your choice which dose to reduce.  Some people reduce the dose they take earlier in the day if they feel they need a higher dose at night to be able to sleep.  Others prefer to keep their doses relatively even and alternate reducing their doses for each cut.
