I had to read into what Histoplasmosis was...I have never heard of it.  I am very sorry you had to experience that.  So you have been on Klonopin since 2008?  What dose are you taking?  The good news, is that it is fully possible to come off of these meds.  Not everyone has a difficult time, but if so, it's great to have a forum full of people who understand.  Do you have a taper plan for coming off of Klonopin?

 

I was on Clonazepam (Klonopin) steadily for 3 years and I am now 7 months free.  Still healing, but getting there!  You've come to the right place for support.  Please let us know how we can help you.
