Partner is taking benzo does not think they are causing him the same problems,

Has anyone been in a relationship with this situation?

 

We lost everything to KATRINA (hurricane) it was in our host state after we evacuated that I was put on lorazepam, a few months later he was diagnosed with cancer and during radiation was put on the same except at a much larger dose. (he is cancer free).

After I gave him the information re: benzo's he cut his 4mg at night to 2 mg, claimed he is having no problems, 11 days out, he does not think he has changed because of them yet believes I have.

We have been together for 18. Years and never had a problem until after the storm or the benzo's.

 

Anyone else have a similar experience? It's like crazy judging crazy, I just want my life and love back.
