[4l...]
We are in week 22 and my husband's consistent symptom all through the taper and post-K has been chest pain. We have every test done at the cardio - all good. He wakes up with it and goes to bed with it. I won't lie - his job is stressful, yet it even hurts on weekends or when work is not even in the forefront of his mind. He even says sometimes he feels absolutely no anxiety, just pain. He also says it is not like panic or a racing heart - it is a slow thudding heart beat. Anyone else?
[Be...]
Just a thought: A gastroentrologist (sp?) might find something that a cardiologist would miss. While it might be due to tighted up or spasming muscles (from withdrawing), some pain in that area can be due to problems in the esophagus etc. I was treated for angina and eventually found out I was actually having esophagael spasms. I think it would be worth an appointment. Good luck.
