OFF (good) but not there yet (not so good)

OK so I took the last Klonopin Friday night - Sat I was fine. Then Sun all hell broke loose only got 2 hrs sleep with full on w/d symptoms. Last night Mon did a bit better 4 hrs. sleep. I guess I should be celebrating? I feel so out of it!

 

Other good news is yesterday PM I was out walking and had this wonderful window where I actually started to feel better! Now this morning I'm groggy and the burning chest/dry mouth that has plagued me has returned, but not as bad as when I was on the Klonopin. I guess it's a bumpy road no matter what!

Congratulations!  I know how "anti-climactic" coming off of Benzos can be.  You take your last dose, but wonder "should I celebrate yet?".  But definitely celebrate..being benzo free is something to dance about. 

 

It can be bumpy, but remember it's not bad for everyone.  If you find you struggle, you have a forum full of people who fully understand what you are going through.  My first week off was the bumpiest, then things smoothed out more my 2nd week off.
