Joint pain

[Be...]

Recommended Posts

I don't know if it is just age catching up with me (I'm 49), or the fact that these benzos have made me rather sedentary and when I try to do something of any activity, it just wipes me out and makes me sore. I've posted specifically before regarding muscle pain and fatigue, but I was wondering how common joint pain was for folks. It just seems that my knees, elbows, shoulders and even ankles and fingers hurt more than they should when I exert them.

Yeah, I'm 67, will be 68 in July. I have a few aches and pains but manage to exercise 30 min a day and walk 1 mile 6 days a week. It does help my anxiety. Now if I could get rid of that and sleep a little at night I would not complain.

endeavor to persevere

Hi Benzo3,

I am 51 and have been fairly sedentary for the last 3 years.  Muscle aches and pains along with joint pain are well known in w/d as well as in those who do not get enough physical activity.  Hot baths with epsom salts and graudually increasing my level of activity has helped immensely.

There is a lot we can do to help ourselves.  :) Many Hugs, KL
