[Me...]
I do wish this was my experience I am asking it because on my previous Forum a member told me that the more he tapered the better he slept??
[Be...]
I'm still early in this taper, so hard to tell, but going with water titration and slowly at that has let me rest much better compared to pill cutting. On my previous taper, which was pill cutting, I did seem to sleep better the lower I got in dosage.
[La...]
Hi Meee, unfortunatley for me too the lower I get the worse I am sleeping and I still have a long way to go, for some reason though, I am not so tired, by about 7 pm all I used to think about was bed, now I can make it till at least 930-10, even though not sleeping well at all I am not feeling so damn exhausted, go figure, must have been the 2 benzos making me so tired and lack of energy to do anything. [De...]
Hi Meee, I wouldn't say my sleep has improved, the more I've tapered but in my case I would say it's no worse and as Ladygrace said I seem to have more energy the lower I taper so can cope better with the disturbed sleep. Hope that's of some help. Debbie
[pd...]
Not sure if it improved or not; but on a few Saturdays, during my taper (even at sub-.1 mg K levels), i'd sleep 10+ hours. This really amazed me as i don't think i ever could do that when i was taking a large amount of K. I tapered slowly and yes, i would have 2-4 nights of tough sleeps when i'd make a cut, but once I stabalized...i slept fine.
[el...]
Yes, i would say the quality of my sleep is better now that I'm taking less Xanax. I sleep through the night whereas in the past when I was taking more Xanax I often woke up early morning and then had trouble falling back to sleep (and would often take more Xanax at around 5 a.m. in order to do so.) It's a LOT easier to finally get up in the morning if I don't do this. I also quit drinking in December 2011 and that alone has improved my sleep by 1000%. Alcohol truly screws up your sleep. [Ch...]
I'm nearing the end of dry cut taper of Xanax. It's been two weeks since the last cut and each night brings better sleep... Challis
[...]
My sleep improved for a short period when I crossed over to diazepam but otherwise: No. I've started taking melatonin and I get six to seven hours sleep.
[an...]
I'm glad I can go through this while not working because I've had no trouble sleeping--during the DAY!!! But I bought MidNite; it says it's 'natural'; and itlps me sleep7-8 hours without waking up. I hope it's not habit-forming--I hate lying here awake all night and hearing people leaving for work!! [Re...]
I did a CT withdrawal and 9 weeks out I feel so much better in the way I sleep. I take a melotonin at night and I'm doing much better. First few weeks it was terrible. I just couldn't stop moving. I am glad things are changing in that way and I feel more restful.
[qu...]
I do wish this was my experience I am asking it because on my previous Forum a member told me that the more he tapered the better he slept?? At first, yes. After about a month I was plunged abruptly into hell.
