[pa...]
Yes, it's wds. My hubby was on the same benzo you were, ice cold feet and hands, even when the weather was hot. I've read other bbs post, same thing. Pattylu
[se...]
thanks pattylu! I figured it had to be because this has never been an issue before. Did it ever go away for your husband?

[su...]
I get this too, and in my hands as well. Moist heat helps. I use the bags you heat in the microwave.
[GH...]
I get cold feet a lot. Mostly they feel very sensitive. I jump at the lightest touch to my feet. When my feet get cold, I stick them in the microwave.
[su...]
I was on Ativan and I also started getting ice cold hands and feet. I C/T Feb 13, and it seems to be getting better....weird stuff.
[pa...]
That was a constant symptom for me for over a year. Now only occasionally. I bought some microwaveable "socks" called bed buddies. They are great. You can't walk around in them, but if you put them on while you're sitting or lying down they warm your feet right up and they stay warm for quite a long time - hours. [Bo...]
Sorry to hear you are going through this. I have experienced shivering chills and being very cold on and off but it only lasted for about 2 days. Its just a withdrawl effect. It will go away. I hope you are doing better with time and just understand that it is just your body trying to adjust and heal.
[re...]
My body temperature is all over the place. I go to bed cold, wake up three or four hours later drenched in sweat, freezing again an hour after I get up, cold at work.

[Fr...]
Cold extremities is one of the symptoms listed in w/d that is a common issue. I have it every night. I thought it could be just poor circulation but I do not know for certain since I cant recall if it was like that pre w/d. I have realized that once this started and I was feeling so much symptoms, I constantly probed myself for what I was feeling. I was aware of every little thing that was going on in my body and at times I can still do that. (Hypochondria) ... I wasnt like that before w/d and hardly noticed a stomach gurgle. So it is hard to say. I will be curious if it changes during warmer nights. Time will tell. I read that wearing 3 pairs of thin socks really helps if it is a problem for you... [Ti...]
I also have cold hands off and on during the day and they also sweat off and on as well. My feet are often sweaty as well, and I also have body tempurature problems, hot then cold all day and I often wake up in a pool of sweat. This has been going on since I was c/t'd 5 1/2 months ago, it will be nice when it stops.
[sa...]
How great is this forum? Without it, I would not know how prevalent this is and that since it is so many of you experiencing it now but not before benzo, its like sx! I have a heating pad on low by my feet. As the warm up I can move it away but keep it nearby as my temp fluctuates a lot throughout the day without being congruent with the actuql temp in the house. I'm freezing and shocked (well used to be shocked) yhat it was as warm as 75 inside yet I was freezing. Its comforting to go from" What the hell is wrong with me?" to "ah, its a wd sxs.It will pass." [Em...]
@[Bo...] As for cold feet? I pretty much always have cold hands and feet, but I attributed it to my Fibromyalgia. Hard to tell now that I think about it how long it's been going on for me? I have a really warm pair of woolly-lamb slippers I wear whenever I'm in the house. Helps me a lot! Plus they are comfy and I love them and I've already had them for like 2 years. Worth the money to get real lambs skin type slippers with the woolly type thing on the inside.
