Head cold - suggestion on treatment

Hi I have a really bad head cold and am wondering about treatment.  I'm not sick enough to go to a dr for I haven't an infection - it is a runny nose and eyes, sneezing, pressure head cold.  I have Vistaril and have been taking 20 mg every 4 to 6 hours, and Tylenol, zinc lozenges.  Nothing else have I taken.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

You know what they say, two weeks with aspirin, 14 days without. One thing that does help me to clear my sinuses is a neti pot rinse.  I hope your cold clears soon.

Thanks wellness, in other words - time    We have something similar to the neti pot I have been using with saline to try and keep clear so to not get infection.

Hi, one thing that helps, wear a knit ski hat 24 hrs per day.  We loose our body heat through the top of our head.  This retains the heat to help with congestion.  Good for using the saline solution/neti pot. clears the infection.  Hope you feel better soon.  Drink lots of water.  Pattylu
