6 months free today!

  Today is 6 months since I took the last little piece of Valium.  I do not feel as though there is much to celebrate, as I am no where near where I thought I would be at this point, and in some ways feel worse than ever.  However, I still believe this is a major accomplishment and a milestone worth highlighting.  Just yesterday I wondered how I would continue on and make it until today.  Yet, somehow I am here to face another incredibly challenging morning.  I truly hope things start to look up and feel a bit more downhill soon.  I look forward to writing my one year celebration post or maybe even a success story.  I am grateful to have made it this far.
