4 months free from ambien and Valium

I am new around here but my story is the same as everyone else's I'm sure...

 

I am 4 months clean from being on ambien and then crossing to Valium to taper for a total of 2 years..

 

Life is much better now, I am still dealing with the ups and downs but I am gonna be ok...

 

All your stories are inspiring and it really shows the resolve that we as human beings can have...something to be proud of..

Congrats Dude on being 4 months free from both Ambien and Valium - a HUGE accomplishment!  It can take some time to heal for some of us, but we will get there!  Sounds like you have an awesome attitude which will take you far.

Can I ask how you are feeling now? I noticed you crossed to Valium as well, I crossed from 10mg of ambien to 20mg of Valium and tapered from there, took me a good 6-8 months to taper..

 

I am feeling good these days and I am sleeping a solid 6-7 hours with nice dreams... But I get bouts of depression that drags me down for a day here and there, I have never taken an anti depressant and never will, just gotta keep trucking along..
