[So...]
I'm into my taper off Klonopin. Tuesday I dropped to .1875mg dry cut. I also just got off some BP meds as it was high but now seems to be stable. I am experiencing increased thirst. During the day, it's OK since I hydrate frequently. But at night I can't drink and have been having a terrible time with dry mouth, throat and now my chest. I've tried OraJel, lozenges, a mouth spray, humidifier. Last night I also tried Robitussin as well. I have not slept well the past 3 nights from this. Actually since I made my last taper on Tuesday. But this thirst thing has been with me since I got over pneumonia in January, off and on. Maybe my humidifier needs to be cleaned? I read they can cause mold to be dispersed into the air. Anyone have this withdrawal symptoms? Any tips?

[JO...]
Hi Sonic, Seems like i have the thirst thing going on too. Here is a suggestion about a year ago I discovered a bottled water at my local health food store. It is fortified with minerals and electrolytes and is what they call alkaline with a ph value of 9.5. It is about $1.89 for a 1qt battle and worth every penny. Our bodies are overly acidic from a number of causes mainly the poor American diet. i found that over time it has helped keep me hydrated tastes better than regular bottled water and helps keep things in balance. If you are curious feel free to google alkaline water.
