[ro...]
I'm over 6 weeks off now and I have not seen improvement. In fact, over the last few days, I've been worse. Anxiety, akathisia and agoraphobia are at all time highs. Just curious: When did your peak acute symptoms start and how long did they last before you found some relief or stabilization? [Sa...]
Hi rober2222 I once was suffering just like you -- in acute withdrawal. I was personally at my worst for the first 3 months off benzos. After that, things started to go up hill. Benzo withdrawal is a rough road to travel so hold on tight. Good Luck -Sam
[Fl...]
I got your PM but I will answer here. I didn't go into acute wd until a couple of months after I jumped, maybe 2-3 months off, and it lasted until I was about 4 months off. Probably about 2 months total. Don't get discouraged. This stuff sticks around for awhile.

[ma...]
FloridaGuy & robber2222 Thank you for answering about the length of your acute wd symptoms. It helps all of us that are really struggling -to know there IS a time frame when things are bad but then abate. Always need to be reminded when pain goes on far longer than expected. May your healing continue well, margaretisabel
